Paedagogica Historica

ISCHE has a longstanding cooperation with the journal Paedagogica Historica that advances efforts to promote research and capacity building in the field of history of education and to advance global networks among historians of education. Each year Paedagogica Historica publishes a double issue comprising papers given at the ISCHE conference. At least one member of the ISCHE Executive Committee serves on the Editorial Board of Paedagogica Historica and the journal is permanently represented at the ISCHE Executive Committee by one representative.

Paedagogica Historica is a trilingual journal publishing in English, French and German. Articles deal with Antiquity, the Middle Ages, and the Modern Period.  The journal encourages social, cross-cultural and historical-comparative approaches and prides itself on content that displays meticulous attention to theoretical and methodological developments.
