CfP - XXIV Coloquio Internacional
The XXIV Coloquio Internacional de Historia de la Educación (24th International Conference on the History of Education), organised by the Sociedad Española de Historia de la Educación (SEDHE – Spanish Society for the History of Education), will be held in Cáceres, Spain, from 19 to 21 May 2027.
This call for papers invites proposals for academic contributions examining the relationship between the global and the local in the history of education. In recent decades, the discipline has increasingly incorporated transnational as well as intercultural perspectives, moving beyond methodological nationalism and acknowledging the decisive role played by the circulation of educational ideas, practices, and policies in shaping national education systems.
Submissions are accepted in all official languages of Spain, as well as in Portuguese, Italian, and English.
