Linda Eisenmann Prize – Call for Nominations
The History of Education Society seeks nominations for the Linda Eisenmann Prize. The $1000 prize is awarded biennially to recognize the most outstanding scholarly work (book, article, electronic contribution, etc.) in the field of the history of higher education in the United States produced by a junior scholar in the immediately prior two years. For the 2024 cycle, a nominated work must have been published between March 31, 2022, and March 30, 2024, by a scholar who received their terminal degree after January 1, 2016. Nominations may be made by faculty, department chairs, deans, and other scholars; self-nominations are welcome. All materials must be received by May 15, 2024.
