RELIGIOUS EDUCATION BETWEEN MIDDLE AGES AND MODERN AGE
ISCHE Institutional Members: The Greek Society of Education Historians (GSEH), Società Italiana per lo studio del Patrimonio Storico-Educativo (SIPSE) and Centro Italiano per la Ricerca Storico-Educativa (CIRSE), together with two Universities (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and University of the Aegean), are launching a series of online seminars (webinar) aiming to explore comparatively issues in the history of education in Greece and Italy.
The collaborating Universities and Societies listed are launching a series of online seminars (webinar) aiming to explore comparatively issues in the history of education in Greece and Italy.
Each seminar involves two interlocutors presenting a topic in the history of education in Italy and Greece at the same period of time. This initiative seeks to highlight the value of comparative approaches. Invited speakers will present their research and highlight the relevance of their interlocutor’s research to their own.
The webinar attracts speakers from Italy and Greece, providing a forum for established historians as well as early-career researchers to present their work on issues of mutual interest.
Seminars are to be held four-five times per academic year, starting from May 2024, on days that will be announced in time.
