Macerata, Sep. 12-13 2017

This conference intends to offer Italian, Iberian and Latin American scholars, who are currently researching on school material culture, an opportunity to discuss and reflect on this recent line of the historical-educational research, with the aim to explore the historiographical potential and the methodological specificities of such field. During this third edition of the conference – which will be held in the Centre for the documentation and research on history of textbooks and children’s literature (CESCO) of the University of Macerata – the communications will focus on the production, use and circulation of school furnishings and teaching supplies between Europe and Latin America during the XIX and XX centuries.
